  3. I think that volunteerism is a good way of helping others in need. The purpose is to teach people to be kind and aware of the unfortunates around us and lend them a helping hand. The services we give them can give them happiness and not unhappy of his/her bad things. Even though it takes our time, but both of us can be really happy. It also counted as giving them a support making them comfortable. It can also benefit us in a lot of learning ways.^.^

  4. Volunteers are angels disguised as humans!! Volunteers are kind and generous. They try to help in different ways. Volunteers make other people happy. If there were more volunteers, the world would be an even more peaceful and happy place.

  5. I feel that volunteerism is a very kind thing to do. We should give anybody in need a helping hand, as giving is better than receiving.

  6. I think that volunteerism is a kind act. People volunteer not because they want to be paid, but because they want to help others. By lending others a helping hand, we can bring ourselves and those who received help happiness. After all, kindness begets kindness!

  9. We should always help others when they are in need.As the saying goes,"there are two ways to spread the light,be the candle or the mirror that reflects it".Just like what Elizabeth Andrew said,"Volunteers do not necessary have the time;they just have the heart!" Always remember what H.Jackson Brown Jr.said,"Remember the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more." We should learn to give more than we receive.

  10. Volunteerism is about helping people when it was not enough. E.g. Who would watch the Primary 1s when they go for a learning journey? The teacher needs more help to take care of them. The parents, or 'volunteers', who actually spend their time taking care of them are good volunteers. As the saying goes; We should give more than to receive. We should spend more time than to receive it.

  18. Volunteering means spending some of your free time helping others. You may volunteer to help other people, such as the families who lost their homes after a natural disaster. But you can also volunteer to protect animals, the environment, or any other cause that you care about.

  19. I think that volunteerism is a way that we can show care to one another. It is very meaningful as we get to know what is happening in other peoples' daily lives . In that manner, we can help them and improve the community.Others will feel safer as there are many people helping and caring for them in times of need.

  20. Volunteering is the practice of people working on behalf of others or a particular cause without payment for their time and services. Volunteering is generally considered an altruistic activity, intended to promote good or improve human quality of life, but people also volunteer for their own skill development, to meet others, to make contacts for possible employment, to have fun, and a variety of other reasons that could be considered self-serving.

I Found it on the Internet at Google.

  21. Volunteering is generally considered an altruistic activity and is intended to promote good or improve human quality of life. In return, this activity can produce a feeling of self-worth and respect. There is no financial gain involved. Volunteering is also renowned for skill development, socialization, and fun. It is also intended to make contacts for possible employment. Many volunteers are specifically trained in the areas they work, such as medicine, education, or emergency rescue. Others serve on an as-needed basis, such as in response to a natural disaster. Source: Wikipedia

  22. Volunteering is just one way to show compassion to others like the less fortunate. It can be like going to the home of the aged sick to help them tidy their place, helping the community to raise money. But volunteering does not mean that we must use money to help the others.Remember, just one simple act can spread love miles and miles away.

  25. Xin Yu's Theory about Volunteering:
1)Volunteering is about helping people that are in need with your heart, without expecting any returns.
2)Volunteering is about showing compassion to others who are in need; like fianacial assitant, poor family backgrounds.
