Weekend Homework

Synthesis 4.3 (Passive to Active voice). Read the notes before you attempt the questions. This task is due on Monday, first thing in the morning.

"Fire" Compo Corrections

Please do your composition corrections for "Fire". Remember to:

• Type out your compo corrections
• Save as a Word document in this format [name][class]fire.doc eg: john5Afire.doc
• send the document to me via email OR
• save the document in a thumbdrive and submit the drive to me
• print out your corrections (if you are unable to print it out, I will do it for you ...)
• staple the print out behind your composition

The corrections are due on Monday (26 August) but do not wait too long to finish it. Once you are done, you may submit your work anytime before the due date.

English File

The EL file has been returned to you today. Please revise the contents of the file for your upcoming CA 2 paper on Monday.

Homework ...

Booklet A, due tomorrow first thing in the morning.

Photo Order ...

Things to take note of:

1. Write your name in block letters on the order envelopes.
2. Write your register number clearly.
3. Indicate correctly the number of photos you want to order. A 5R costs $3 while an 8R costs $6.
4. Submit the sealed envelope with the exact amount by tomorrow, 22 August.
5. The sample (colour) copy has been put up at the back of the class for viewing.

Booklet B mock exam ...

There will be  an EL CA2 mock exam for Booklet B tomorrow.

Active to Passive ...

Synthesis WS 4.1  is due tomorrow.

Homework and Volunteerism

• Your task is to complete the EL Supplementary Set by Monday. Not including today, you have 4 days to do it.
• You are also required to put up your comments for the Volunteerism post.

Crossword

Do up a crossword puzzle on the adjectives that you can find on page 2 of the story handout. Get at least 10 words. This task is due tomorrow.

National Day photos ...

About tomorrow and homework ...

• You are encouraged to wear either white or red (top) with school's shorts or skirts (bottom) for tomorrow's National Observance Ceremony. If you do not have any, then you should be in your uniform. Since your day ends at 9.45 am, please bring a small bag to put your stationery, a storybook and a water bottle. 

• Situational Writing Task 8 is due only on Monday, 12th August. Write your report on  foolscap paper; leaving a line.
