Annual Health Screening

You have recived the "Health Check and Immunisation For Primary 5 Pupils" booklet as well as the school letter (white) and the Health Promotion Board letter (blue) for your parents.
Important:

• Get your parents to read all the letters.
• Get your parents to fill up the pink forms in the "Health Check and Immunisation For Primary 5 Pupils" booklet, pages 01 and 02 (Look at the photos below). They also need to sign the form.


• Detach the form and submit it together with your Baby Health Booklet, latest by Wednesday 24 July to me.

Homework:

• Vocabulary WS. Remember to find out the meanings of 7 words that you found difficult and write sentences using those words. This task is due on Monday.

 Things to take note of for NE Show:

1. Be in school by 3 pm. Assemble in the Hall.
2. Attire: Red T-shirt and school shorts / skirt OR PE shorts.
3. Bring thermometer (very important) and a black permanent marker.
4. No extra bags allowed. If you need to bring extra food, put them in a small plastic bag so that you can  put them in your fun pack.

Youth Day, Spelling and Situational Writing

• Please be reminded that Monday is a school holiday, Youth Day. See you back in school on Tuesday.
• Revise the spelling list that I have given you today. There will be Spelling on Tuesday.
• Situational Writing Task 2: Report is due on Tuesday. Please follow the structure given in the pre-task activity.

Temperature Taking and Simile

• There will be a temperature taking exercise tomorrow, so for those who have not given me their thermometers for safe keeping today (due to one reason or another), please ensure that you have them ready.

Thermometer and Bullying

• Please be reminded to bring along your thermometer for safe keeping tomorrow. Make sure that it is still in working condition.
• Today we had Mr Taufik telling us about bullying. He said," Be Cool, Be Bully-free" and he shared tips to counter bullying: the High 5. They are ignore, walk away, talk friendly, talk firmly and report. Haze, Synthesis and McOnline

Anyway,

• Please show your parents the letter from our Principal, Mrs Pek regarding the haze.
• Get them to acknowledge the McOnline report for the holiday tasks. If you have a DNA in your report, I need to know the reason(s) for it. Indicate it in your report and submit it tomorrow.
• Synthesis 1.3: "Whom" is also due tomorrow. For those who have yet to complete the corrections for Synthesis 1.2, please complete them and submit to me first thing in the morning.
