1. Please get your parents to sign the consent form for English Supplementary lesson. The slip must be returned to me by Monday, 4 Feb.
2. As for the Sexuality Education programme, if your parents are agreeable to let you go for it (which I strongly recommend you to), you need them to acknowledge the front page (where the letter part of the form is). If your parents are not agreeable to it, then please complete the back part (Opt Out portion). Your parents need only complete either one and not both.
3. English homework for today - LS 2.6. Be extra careful with respect to the tenses and spelling of your answers.
4. Be in your PE attire for tomorrow's STEP programme.

IMPT: Annual Updating of Particulars

This particular form need to be checked thoroughly by your parent. If there are any additions or changes to the information given in the form, please get your parent to write in the form in blue pen. They must sign the form and it must be returned to me latest by this Wednesday, 23 January.

Magazine subscriptions

Please remember to show your parents the magazine subscriptions letter and corresponding forms. If you are interested to subscribe please make sure that you fill up the necessary parts and get the cheque/cash ready. You need to submit your subscription and payment directly to the relevant vendor on 31 Jan or 1 Feb outside the school library.
Please take note that for the the Science Booster guidebooks, the price has been increased to $27.40 each.

What's up in week 3

1. Unseen dictation will be conducted on Monday. Revise your story handouts. It could be from anywhere from the story ... so get ready.
2. Topical Test 1 for Unit 1 will be conducted on Thursday. I have returned your files today, so revise them.
3. Remedial and/or supplementary lessons will start. (Only for those given the consent forms)

TREEPLE READ!

1. I would like to thank those who have volunteered to make the banner for our Tree in class. Please submit your work on Monday. Make them colourful. You may also add in bling, bling if you want.
2. Get your 'leaf' write-ups ready. Write them on a piece of paper for me to read. Once I've given the go ahead, you may transfer your info onto one of the coloured leaves. Remember to include: Reviewer: (this should be your name), Book Tiltle:, Author:, What to look out for?, and "Where to get it?

Reading and STEP

Just a gentle reminder to all:

• Please try to be in school by 7.20 am to do your silent reading. Make sure you have a good book with you. For Mondays to Wednesdays, you should have an English storybook while for Thursdays and Fridays, read a Mother Tongue storybook. 
• Please be in your PE attire tomorrow for our very first Strength Training at Endeavour Primary (STEP) session in the morning.

Parent's Letter Acknowledgement Slip

For the 9 of you who have yet to submit the slip, please do so tomorrow, latest.

What's up in Week 1

1. Temperature Taking Exercise will be held on Monday. Please ensure that your thermometers are in working condition. If you need a new one, please purchase during the weekends.
2. Classroom Decoration will be held on Friday from 2 pm onwards. It is NOT compulsory for you or your parents to help me out but if you and/or your parent could spare the time please inform me on Monday. I will not be issuing consent forms for this activity so if your parent do give consent, please get them to write it in your handbook. Make sure that they sign the note.
3. Please show the introductory letter to your parents and get them to complete the bottom part. It is important that the contact numbers are filled in. Return this part of the letter to me on Monday.

Last but not least, have a good weekend and be ready to start Week 1 on a high note!

I think all of you did a good job in settling yourselves into groups and solving whatever minor problems along the way. Let's give the arrangement a try for a couple of weeks and if you really do encounter further issues, please approach me so that we can work it out.
